The Digital Twin of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field was put into operation in Severneftegazprom

At the end of June 2023, OJSC Severneftegazprom became the owner of a patent for the invention «Method for managing gas production in a multilayer field and a system for its implementation».

Previously, the specialists of the company successfully completed research and development work, created and put into permanent operation the «Digital Twin» of the geological and technological model: productive reservoirs-wells-gas gathering network-switching valve station of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field.

Based on the results of development work, several certificates of state registration of the computer program were obtained. And now the «Digital Twin» itself is patented as an invention of a method for managing gas production in a multilayer field and a system for its implementation.

The uniqueness of the «Digital Twin» is that the functional structure and software and hardware architecture with artificial intelligence are a complex of multigrid computing technologies and modifications of the method of successive approximations, which, when solving problems, allows for a higher rate of convergence of results without loss of accuracy compared to known algorithms.

OJSC Severneftegazprom is the owner of 69 patent and copyright objects, 49 of which are used in production activities. All this provides an opportunity for stable technical development of the gas producing enterprise.
