Development strategy for decades to come
Back to newsOJSC Severneftegazprom held a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Company, where a set of solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of developing hard-to-recover deposits and sustainable integration of digital transformation of production have been discussed.
The event brought together managers and specialists of PJSC Gazprom, its subsidiaries, and other fuel and energy companies from all over Russia.
The unique software and hardware complex «Digital Twin of the Geological and Technological Model: Reservoirs – Wells – Gas Gathering Network – Switching Valve Station of the Yuzhno-Russkoye Field» was presented to the participants of the Scientific and Technical Council by Chief Engineer – First Deputy General Director of OJSC Severneftegazprom, Alexei Legai.
All modules and services of the «Digital Twin» were considered: the gas-liquid flow module, the machine learning service, the service of 3D models of gas well clusters, the Electrochemical Protection module, the In-Line Diagnostics module, and the economic efficiency module.
The used artificial intelligence algorithms were discussed, which automatically adjust to constant changes in technological conditions in production and are based on the use of recurrent neural networks.
Particular attention was paid to the In-Line Diagnostics module, whose tasks are to store and visualize the results of in-line diagnostics, analyze and predict the development of the identified major anomalies. Using the module allows you to predict the remaining life of the pipeline, visualize its problem areas and plan additional diagnostics and repairs.
In addition, reports were presented: «Results of R&D on the topic: «Digital twin» of the gas treatment plant and booster compressor station of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field», «Innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of development of hard-to-recover deposits».
The expansion of the scope of the «Digital Twin» to the gas treatment plant and the booster compressor station of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field has been discussed. To this end, in the current year OJSC Severneftegazprom has organized the implementation of R&D and a set of studies will be carried out to determine the range of tasks that will be solved using the «Digital Twin» of the GTP and BCS with the development of a system of interconnected technical, technological and methodological solutions for effective and cost-effective application of an innovative software and hardware complex at the Yuzhno-Russkoye field.
Speakers during the meeting noted topical issues in the field of innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of development of hard-to-recover deposits. The accumulated experience in this area can be used by other enterprises.
