A tripartite cooperation agreement was signed in Krasnoselkup village

Vladimir Dmitruk, General Director of OJSC Severneftegazprom, Yuri Fisher, Head of the Krasnoselkupsky District, and Chairman of the District Branch of the Okrug Public Movement Association of Indigenous Minorities of the North of YaNAO «Yamal - to descendants!», Yakov Andreev, signed a trilateral cooperation agreement for 2022.

The subject of this agreement is the interaction and cooperation of the parties, aimed at developing the socio-economic potential of the Krasnoselkup region. In accordance with the terms of the document, the amount of financing by the gas producing company for a wide range of activities for 2022 was determined.

The cooperation agreement involves, first of all, support for the traditional way of life of the peoples of the north, as well as the development of the social sphere: schools, kindergartens, cultural facilities, and healthcare institutions.

The General Director of the Company Vladimir Dmitruk noted that the Krasnoselkupsky district is an important strategic partner of the company. «Our long-term cooperation is indeed fruitful. And we are pleased that, working on the lands of the Krasnoselkup region, our team, to the best of its ability and possibilities, supports the social programs of the region and the «Yamal - to descendants!» Association. I am sure that the signed agreement will have a positive impact on the development of the region», said Vladimir Dmitruk.

One of the priority directions of the document on cooperation is the financing of the Association of Indigenous Minorities of the North of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug «Yamal - to descendants!». The Arctic and northern territories are the most important economic and strategic reserve of the country. The last decades have been marked by the intensity of development of the regions by large industrial companies for the production and processing of hydrocarbon raw materials. This increases the technogenic pressure on the land and natural resources of the North, where the indigenous peoples of the North have been nomadic for centuries.

The Chairman of the district branch of the Association «Yamal - to descendants!», Yakov Andreev, noted that over the years of the cooperation agreement, the indicator of trust in the enterprise has noticeably increased: «The signing of this agreement is a very important event for us. Cooperation between us contributes to the creation of mutually beneficial and respectful relations between the residents of the region and the staff of OJSC Severneftegazprom».

The administration of the Krasnoselkupsky district and the Severneftegazprom company have a long period of effective cooperation, the official starting point of which was 2006, when the General Cooperation Agreement was signed.

OJSC Severneftegazprom, as a socially responsible company, takes part in the development of the region, contributes to the preservation of the cultural customs of the indigenous peoples of the Far North, provides charitable and sponsorship assistance to fishermen and reindeer breeders, and allocates funds for the development of national settlements.
