The labor team of OJSC Severneftegazprom joined the campaign «Our clean Novy Urengoy»

As part of the project «Our Clean Novy Urengoy», the guys from the company's labor team cleaned up the common land from unauthorized dumps in the forest in the area of the Tamchara-Yakhi River not far from the «Solnechnaya» junction under construction.
All collected small and bulky waste was immediately taken to the landfill.
The guys worked under the guidance of mentors. A whole team of specialists from the Company's administrative and economic support service devotes a lot of time to working with the younger generation. Teenagers not only help the company, which provided them with work for the summer, but also their hometown, making it cleaner and more beautiful. They develop a culture of waste management and develop environmental awareness.
After picking up the garbage left by careless adults, the guys will no longer throw a piece of paper past the trash can, they will not leave garbage after a picnic in the forest and will not allow their peers or parents to do this.
The fragile northern nature requires a careful attitude towards itself. The youth of the labor team of OJSC Severneftegazprom understands this.

As of today, there are 63 unauthorized dumps in Novy Urengoy. Most of it consists of construction and household waste, waste tires. Collaboration between city enterprises is not limited to cleaning up land adjacent to office buildings and industrial facilities. Organizations are actively involved in cleaning up common lands.
The goal of the Our Clean Novy Urengoy project is to preserve a favorable environmental situation and the appearance of the city. The cleanliness marathon is designed for three years and involves the unification of citizens, organizations and authorities in the matter of environmental protection and the formation of ecological culture.
