Once again, the specialists of the Company made an important development, having patented the design of the «Quick-detachable unit of the lubricator guide roller».

This utility model increases the reliability and simplifies the design of the lubricator guide roller assembly used when running and lifting tools and devices into the well.

The downhole lubricator is used to seal the wellbore of deep wells during production testing and geophysical studies. In addition, the device is used for lowering downhole instruments required for pressure measurement, sampling and other devices.

Specialists of OJSC Severneftegazprom have improved the lubricator by creating a quick-detachable, simple and reliable design of the guide roller assembly. Technically, the problem is solved by the fact that the quick-detachable assembly of the lubricator guide roller, containing a swivel bracket, the latter consists of two lugs and a ring welded to them, while the lugs have holes for installing the guide roller by means of a threaded connection, and a through slot is made in the ring. The threaded connection is made in the form of a stud and two nuts, and the guide roller is mounted on a closed-type bearing.

The device developed by the company has a number of advantages over its counterparts. Due to the reduced weight and no need to hold the device at a height for attaching additional devices (clamps, studs), only one well survey operator is required for installation and dismantling, which saves human resources. In addition, the simplicity of the device design ensures the reliability and durability of its operation, which means that the equipment needs less repair.
