OJSC Severneftegazprom and the Government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug signed a cooperation agreement until 2025

In the district capital of Yamal, the Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Government of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and OJSC Severneftegazprom.

The parties represented by the General Director of the Company, Vladimir Dmitruk, and the Governor of the Okrug, Dmitry Artyukhov, signed the document and thus confirmed their intention to extend mutual cooperation for another five years, until 2025.

The agreements reached develop the history of the already established strategic partnership, within the framework of which not only practical tasks of preserving a favorable environment and ensuring rational use of natural resources are being solved, but also important social projects are being implemented.

Additional agreements, which are concluded annually, provide for the allocation of funds for the implementation of projects in Krasnoselkupsky and Purovsky districts, the city of Novy Urengoy. Thus, the Company invests in the development of the infrastructure of the territories where the production facilities of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field are located, as well as the Company's administrative buildings. The funds are used to strengthen the material and technical base of non-profit organizations, support institutions of the system of school and preschool education, health care, culture and sports, as well as charitable assistance to veterans, people and children with disabilities.

In addition, the Company provides significant support to the regional branches of the district public movement «Association of Indigenous Minorities of the North of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug «Yamal to Descendants!»

The Governor of the Okrug thanked the management of OJSC Severneftegazprom for their indifference to the events and interests of Yamal residents, noting that an active social policy of responsible business allows the region not only to form the largest energy cluster in Yamal, but also to develop significant social projects. And the Company's activity on the development of hard-to-recover reserves is an important contribution to the prospect of gas production at the fields of Western Siberia.

General Director of OJSC Severneftegazprom, Vladimir Dmitruk, in turn, stressed that relations with the Government of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug have always been distinguished by the spirit of mutual assistance and trust, and expressed confidence that mutual obligations will be fulfilled, and further cooperation will be constructive and successful.
