OJSC Severneftegazprom presented its team at the opening of a charity volleyball tournament
A charity volleyball tournament for the Governor's Cup of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District has started at the Zvyozdny Sports Palace. This year it has gathered an unprecedented number of teams – 26. Composed of the employees of companies and organizations, city and regional administrations, the participants have united under a common idea – to enjoy the game and help the children of the Yamine Charitable Foundation.
The team of OJSC Severneftegazprom has been taking part in the charity tournament for the third time. Our volleyball players went to the opening parade in good spirits and fully equipped. The first game for the team of the Company will take place on March 15 at 20:00 in the Zvyozdny sports palace, the rivals will be the employees of the Velesstroy construction company.
According to the standings on March 17, the team of OJSC Severneftegazprom will meet with the administration of the Nadym region, on the 18th, will fight the team of Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg, and on March 21, will face the volleyball players of Achimgaz. Anyone can support their team during the qualifying rounds. Entrance to the stands is free. We urge all employees of the Company not to stand aside, to stock up on whistles, drums and rattles. The voices of the fans are very important for the team members!
The tournament will end with a charity match, during which the team of the Government of the Okrug «Northern character» and the team of captains of different teams «Leaders of Yamal» will meet. By tradition, the «Northern Character» will be headed by the Governor of the Okrug Dmitry Artyukhov. The game with the participation of the Head of the region will take place at the Zvyozdny Sports Palace on April 01. Tickets are on sale now.
The funds collected during the tournament – charitable contributions from the participating teams, as well as money received from the sale of tickets for the gala match, will go to the Yamine Foundation for the treatment and rehabilitation of disabled children. Thus, we not only support sports, but also help those who especially need our support!
