OJSC Severneftegazprom took part in the celebration of the Fisherman's Day in the village of Ratta
Back to newsLast weekend on July 8, 2023, the annual holiday of the indigenous peoples of the North, the Day of the Fisherman, was held in the village of Ratta, Krasnoselkupsky District.
By tradition, OJSC Severneftegazprom took part in a colorful event. The district administration and the Company have been closely cooperating in the field of social policy for a number of years. The Company takes an active part in one of the priority areas - the preservation of the cultural traditions and customs of the indigenous peoples of Yamal.
Before the start of the holiday, Andrey Lesnichenko, Deputy General Director for General Affairs of OJSC Severneftegazprom, on behalf of the management and staff of the Company, congratulated the residents of the Krasnoselkupsky District on the Day of the Fisherman, wished stability and development to the area, good luck and big catches to the participants of the competition. The key action of the event was the competition of fishermen. Local craftsmen-fishermen had to show ingenuity and experience when catching fish, the ability to easily and quickly move on a branch boat (made by hand from birch bark).
Neither mosquitoes, nor hot weather, followed by a thunderstorm with hail and squally wind, could spoil the mood and competitive spirit of the participants.
Traditionally, the Company acted as a sponsor of the prize fund for the winners and prize-winners of the competitions. The company is a reliable partner of the municipality of Krasnoselkupsky district, which is the most important factor in its successful socio-economic development.
