Schoolchildren from Krasnoselkup visited the gas field of OJSC Severneftegazprom
Back to newsOn May 15, 14 high school students of the Raduga school, together with a teacher, visited the Yuzhno-Russkoye field with an introductory tour. The trip was organized as part of activities for the professional orientation of schoolchildren.
The guys flew to the gas field from the village of Krasnoselkup by helicopter. The employees of the Company gave them a fascinating tour, introduced them to the production facilities of the Company, social and living conditions of work and residence at the gas field of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field.
Arriving at the production facility, the participants of the event underwent a mandatory safety briefing and changed into special clothes. A helmet, gloves and goggles are a must when visiting gas production facilities! After observing all industrial safety measures, the children had a sightseeing tour of the facilities of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field gas treatment plant. The students were divided into several interest groups. They were introduced to the peculiarities of their work by specialists of such professions as an oil and gas production operator, a process compressor driver, a process plant repairman, an instrumentation and automation fitter, an electrician for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
During the visit to the production facilities, the participants of the event were able to get detailed explanations about the operation of the production facilities, the features of their operation, the implemented innovative solutions, as well as ask their questions and receive comprehensive answers from the gas field workers accompanying the tour.
According to the schoolchildren, they liked the event very much, and after the tour, many seriously thought about dedicating their lives with the oil and gas industry.
