The team of OJSC Severneftegazprom is a regular participant in the charity volleyball tournament

The VI Arctic Charity Volleyball Tournament «Yamal Governor's Cup-2023» has started in Novy Urengoy.

The main goal of the tournament is unchanged – and this is not a victory, but to help children with serious illnesses. The grand opening took place on February 12. There are 19 participating teams in the sports arena of the Zvezdny Sports Palace.

The preliminary games of the tournament started on February 10. On that day, the team of OJSC Severneftegazprom won against the Youth Council with a score of 2:1 (score by game: 21:25, 25:19; 15:11). In the second match with the team «Teacher» (MBEI secondary school No. 4), luck was not on our side. This game made the fans excited. The score of the meeting is 2:1 in favor of the team «Teacher» (score by game: 25:22, 24:26, 15:10).

On February 27 at 19:00 the team of OJSC Severneftegazprom will meet with volleyball players of JSC Arktikgaz. The fight continues!

All teams are divided into six groups. Four groups play in Novy Urengoy (22 teams), one group in Noyabrsk (5 teams), one group in Labytnangi (5 teams). The winners of groups 1, 2, 3 will play in the semi-final «A», and the winners of groups 4, 5, 6 – in the semi-final «B». Further, for the 3rd place there will be a game between the teams that took 2nd places in the semi-finals «A» and «B». In the final game for the 1st place, the teams that took 1st place in the semi-finals «A» and «B» will meet. In general, 32 teams are taking part in the tournament this year.

The tournament will end with a gala match, where the team of captains of the participating teams «Leaders of Yamal» and the team of the district government «Northern Character» headed by the Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Artyukhov will meet.
