A job fair was held at the Gazprom Technical School Novy Urengoy. 4th year students of part-time education, interested in employment, met with representatives of personnel services.

More than 200 vacancies were offered to the children by LLC Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy, LLC Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg, LLC Gazprom Dobycha Nadym, LLC Gazprom Pererabotka, JSC Gazstroyprom, LLC Gazprom Energo, LLC Gazprom Transgaz Surgut, LLC Gazprom transgaz Yugorsk, LLC Gazprom Podzemremont Urengoy, OJSC Severneftegazprom. The job fair was aimed at finding jobs for graduates of the technical school at enterprises located in Yamal. This is convenient for both the employer and the applicant.

Students of the technical school had the opportunity to get acquainted with potential employers, ask questions about the work of the enterprise, working conditions. Representatives of the city-forming enterprises spoke about the specifics of working in the industry, working conditions, working hours, features of the corporate culture and the requirements for employees.

Olga Ryabova, Leading Specialist of the Human Resources and Social Development Department of OJSC Severneftegazprom, presented the activities of our Company; spoke about the social guarantees provided by the Company, about working with young professionals.

A job fair is a two-way interaction between an educational institution and an employer, for whom it is important to select well-trained graduates with strong theoretical knowledge for employment.

Of the 24 people applying for vacant positions at OJSC Severneftegazprom, four candidates were selected. The decisive role here was played by: the average score of the student (mandatory above four) and the results of the interview. An applicant for a vacant position must not only know the theory of subjects well, but also have an idea about the work of the enterprise where he wants to work. Student hobbies are also taken into account. The advantage is for young people who are athletic and passionate about science.

A high-quality personnel reserve is a long-term investment in the future of a modern innovative enterprise. Understanding the relevance of this issue, the company's management uses the opportunity to select the right specialists at the pre-diploma stage of training.
