OJSC Severneftegazprom took part in the Yamal Oil and Gas Forum
Back to newsThe Yamal Oil and Gas Forum was held in the capital of Yamal. It was organized by the Okrug Government. The event brought together the heads of the largest oil and gas companies, representatives of federal and regional authorities, investors, technology and equipment manufacturers, as well as authoritative experts from design institutes.
On behalf of OJSC Severneftegazprom, General Director Vladimir Dmitruk and Head of the Field Development Department Yevgeny Mironov took part in the forum.
The participants gathered to exchange experience and discuss key issues of industrial development of the Arctic. The main topics of the plenary session were the problems of environmental safety and the development of hydrogen energy. The Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Artyukhov also made a presentation.
«The territory of Yamal is huge, there are many projects, and maintaining the fragile balance of our Arctic ecosystem, of course, is our common task», the head of the Arctic region noted.
Within the framework of the round table «Prospects for the development of the hydrocarbon resource base in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug», the managers of the companies outlined the existing problems, and most importantly – presented their ways of solving them. With the depletion of mature assets and the need to maintain the achieved production levels, the development of hard-to-recover reserves is of increasing interest.
OJSC Severneftegazprom has unique experience in the development of Turonian gas at the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas condensate field. The company is not only actively working on the construction of high-tech wells that allow the development of deposits with a complex geological structure, but today it is actively sharing its experience.
Evgeny Mironov, the Head of the Field Development Department of OJSC Severneftegazprom, presented a report describing in detail the Company's practice in the development of the Turonian gas deposit of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field.
He shared technical solutions and innovations that allow for a step-by-step increase in the production of Turonian. The profitability and economic feasibility of such a development is no longer in doubt. The total volume of Turonian gas produced by OJSC Severneftegazprom recently exceeded 5 billion cubic meters. And this is just the beginning!
