OJSC Severneftegazprom helps doctors from Novy Urengoi

Doctors and medical personnel of the Novy Urengoy central city hospital worked in emergency mode throughout 2020 in conditions of colossal overload. Having proved to be the main fighters on the coronavirus frontline, today they steadfastly fulfill their duty, defending the life of every patient. But, despite the positive statistics and a decrease in the daily detected cases of infection, it is too early to talk about a complete victory. Patients with COVID-19 continue to be admitted to the infectious diseases department.

Understanding the complexity and responsibility of doctors' work, OJSC Severneftegazprom is trying to help. The Deputy General Director for Human Resources, Alexander Plotnikov, on behalf of OJSC Severneftegazprom has recently handed over another batch of a vital medicine to the Novy Urengoy Central City Hospital. 50 packs of an expensive but essential medicine to save severe patients are now at the disposal of doctors. The reserve of medicines created with the support of the Company will help to save patients with a severe form of coronavirus.

Your participation allows our patients to become healthy faster,» said Kirill Trapeznikov, chief physician of the Novoy Urengoy central city hospital.

Deputy General Director for Human Resources, Alexander Plotnikov, in turn, noted that in such a difficult time the Company could not stand aside. He thanked the doctors for their courage and patience, and also wished to cope with the pandemic as soon as possible and return to the usual rhythm of life.

As part of its charitable assistance, OJSC Severneftegazprom has come to the aid of Novy Urengoy doctors for the first time. Last summer in addition to the medicine «Actemra», the doctors received personal protective equipment and vital supplies. With the support of OJSC Severneftegazprom, tubes were purchased for sampling biomaterials and conducting PCR tests, tips with protective filters for safe work with viruses.

The traditions of charity at OJSC Severneftegazprom have actually existed since the moment of its foundation, the pandemic only changed the vector of this work, prioritizing the care of the health of Yamal residents.
