OJSC Severneftegazprom received a certificate of conformity of road safety management systems with the requirements of the international standard ISO 39001: 2012

OJSC Severneftegazprom received a certificate of compliance of its road safety management system with the requirements of the international standard ISO 39001:2012 based on the results of a certification audit conducted in November 2020 by an independent certification body LLC SSU DQS (representative of the international certification body DQS).

The road safety management system (RSMS) is a part of the industrial safety management system of OJSC Severneftegazprom and is aimed at increasing the level of road safety by consistently reducing the potential risks of road traffic accidents involving serious consequences for the life and health of people, at the facilities of gas field, as well as when the company's vehicles move on general roads.

Based on the results of the audit, no inconsistencies were identified, while the auditors noted such strengths of OJSC Severneftegazprom as the absence of road accidents with serious consequences over the past 8 years with the participation of the company's vehicles; integrating the requirements of the RSMS into the organization's business processes; high qualification and motivation of staff; renewal of the fleet of automobile and tractor equipment on a planned basis, etc.

The Company's integrated management system in the field of quality, environmental protection, industrial safety of OJSC Severneftegazprom was first certified in 2010 by the certification body BUREAU VERITAS Certification for compliance with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2008 «Quality Management Systems. Requirements», ISO 14001:2004 «Environmental management systems. Requirements and guidance for use», BS OHSAS 18001:2007 «Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems». In 2016, the quality management system was re-certified to the new version of the international standard ISO 9001:2015, in 2017 the environmental management system was re-certified to ISO 14001:2015, in 2019 the industrial safety management system was re-certified to ISO 45001:2018, in 2019, the road safety management system was introduced and in 2020 certified for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 39001:2012 «Road safety systems. Requirements and guidance for use».
