The policy in the field of sustainable development was approved by Order of the General Director on July 20, 2016.

The policy of OJSC Severneftegazprom in the field of sustainable development (positive development of the Company to improve its performance) is aimed at improving the economic, environmental and social performance of the Company through a balanced use of natural resource potential, maintaining the stability of social and cultural systems to meet the needs of current and future generations.

The policy consists of 8 points:

• Conducting business and production activities with the utmost responsibility and efficiency in order to ensure the stable development of the Company and the interests of shareholders.
• Long-term partnership with the regions of presence (subjects of the Russian Federation and administrative territorial units, within which the Company conducts its production and business activities), interaction with stakeholders (individuals, organizations or communities that may influence the Company's activities or, on the contrary, are able to experience the influence of the Company's activities, its products or services rendered by it and related actions), taking into account interests and expectations, maintaining an active dialogue with interested parties for the full and long-term economic, environmental and social development of the Company and the regions of presence.
• Respect for and observance of human rights, creating decent and safe working conditions, opportunities for professional and career growth, improving the effectiveness of personnel development programs and social support for personnel.
• Identification and reduction of economic, environmental, social risks in the regions of the Company's presence, rational use of natural resources and reduction of negative environmental impact, respect for the rights of indigenous people, implementation of social and charitable programs.
• Introduction of the principles of sustainable development in the daily activities of the Company, raising the level of awareness of employees.
• Development and implementation of innovative technologies in all areas of the Company's activities in order to increase productivity and safety.
• Ensuring the information transparency on the Company's activities at all stages of the project for the integrated development of the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas condensate field.
• Work with partners and contractors in accordance and on the basis of the principles of the Policy.
