The invention relates to the gas industry, and can be used in the operation of gas wells and their repair.

An object of the invention is to develop a method for eliminating leakage of a threaded connection of a coupling of a conductor-mounting socket of a column head (hereinafter referred to as a threaded connection) using manual electric arc welding, which allows to completely restore the tightness of the threaded connection, without putting the well into major overhaul, as well as adding additional quality, namely increasing the structural strength in the direction of the impact of the workload, at the same time eliminating leakage of natural gas into the atmosphere, and reducing the negative impact on the environment.

The technical result is the elimination of natural gas leakage due to the sealing of the threaded joint using manual electric arc welding, as well as the improvement of environmental aspects and industrial safety indicators.
