YUZHNO-RUSSKOYE FIELD, (YNAO), June 20 - RIA News. OJSC Severneftegazprom, a joint venture of OJSC Gazprom and German E.ON Ruhrgas and Wintershall, plans to increase gas production at the Yuzhno-Russkoye field by 1.4% in 2012, to 26 billion cubic meters, the company’s general director told reporters on Wednesday Stanislav Tsygankov.
"We have a plan for the production volume of 25 billion cubic meters, we have extracted (in 2011 - ed.) A little more - 25.63 billion cubic meters, and as for this year, we plan to extract even more," said Tsygankov.
He explained that the volume of gas production at the field depends on a number of factors.
"Now it is difficult to say (what the volume of production will be in 2012 - Ed.), In fact, the volume of production depends, of course, on the seasons. This is October-April. Accordingly, what will happen in the fourth quarter will mainly form annual production “We expect, taking into account the current state, about 25.95 billion cubic meters. Maybe a little more,” said the head of the company.
OJSC Severneftegazprom is the owner of a license for the right of geological study and production of hydrocarbons within the South Russian subsoil section. Gazprom owns 50% plus six ordinary shares of CISP, German concern BASF SE and its subsidiary Wintershall Holding GmbH own 25% minus three ordinary shares, E.ON AG - 25% minus three ordinary shares.
The Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas field is located in the Krasnoselkupsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. The start-up complex of the field was commissioned in October 2007. The design capacity is 25 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
