The staff of OJSC Severneftegazprom took part in the events dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War
Back to newsOn May 9, the staff of the gas producing enterprise took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Eternal Flame on the Memory Square in Novy Urengoy and paid tribute and memory to the victorious heroes.
Employees of OJSC Severneftegazprom in the village of Krasnoselkup also took part in the celebrations dedicated to the Victory Day. A solemn rally was held at the Victory Square memorial complex. The memory of the soldiers was honored with a minute of silence and flowers were laid at the Eternal Flame.
In Novy Urengoy, near the company's office in the Olimpiyskiy microdistrict, there was a mini-exhibition of military equipment in the open air from the times of the Great Patriotic War. Here one could see the Soviet light armored car of the period of the Second World War BA-64; GAZ-69 – one of the first Soviet SUVs; trailer kitchen KP – 130-11; M-42 cannon – a Soviet semi-automatic anti-tank gun of 45 mm caliber. All this was assembled according to the drawings by craftsmen – employees of the company.
On the same day, in honor of Victory Day, the Novy Urengoy Museum of Fine Arts hosted a corporate tour for the Company's employees and their families. The Fortress exhibition, dedicated to the memory of its defenders, was opened with the support of OJSC Severneftegazprom.
At the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas condensate field of OJSC Severneftegazprom, on May 9, a festive mood was created everywhere: colorful photo zones, thematic posters, St. George ribbons, songs of the war years, girls in military uniform. In the evening, a festive concert was held in the concert hall of the shift camp.
In addition, on the eve of the Victory Day, the employees of OJSC Severneftegazprom thanked the veterans for the victory. Representatives of the gas producing company went to the Novy Urengoy Council of Veterans to congratulate our dear winners on Victory Day!
«We have a special attitude towards veterans, it cannot be otherwise. Unfortunately, every year they become less and less. We often visit them, not only on the eve of May 9th. We thank them for the peaceful sky above our heads, we try to surround them with attention and care. Helping them is our common duty», the employees of the Company say.
Our veterans do not grow old in soul. The meeting was warm and friendly.

On Victory Day, each of us feels especially proud of our history. This is a holiday that will forever be in our hearts!
