In order to develop innovative activities in the field of gas production, gas treatment and transportation and to identify the promising scientific and technical solutions, initiated by students of higher educational institutions, a contest “The innovative projects by students and postgraduates of technical universities in Russia” was organized in OJSC Severneftegazprom from the April 4 to November 30, 2018.
To define the winners, a Contest Commission was established by the Company's specialists in all areas of the company's activities. Innovative projects by students and postgraduates were examined on the subject of relevance and novelty, economic efficiency, the collaboration prospects for the authors to implement the R&D program of OJSC Severneftegazprom, as well as for entire fuel and energy complex of Russia.
The winner of the contest, who won the first place, was Nikita Portnyagin, a student of Tyumen Industrial University, who presented an innovative project on the topic “Development of an intelligent complex for the elimination of sandy-clay plugs in gas and oil producing wells”.
Second place was awarded to Alexander Voropaev, a student of the Tyumen Industrial University, for a project on the “Development of an intellectual plunger lift complex to eliminate the waterflooding and self-killing of gas wells”.
The third was Alexander Verisokin, a student of the North Caucasus Federal University with an innovative project "Reduction of well development time after hydraulic fracturing".
In the prescribed manner, the winners of the contest will be awarded with diplomas, incentive prizes and the possibility of priority internship at the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas condensate field.
