On December 20th, 2018 in Salekhard Dmitry Artyukhov, the Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and Vladimir Dmitruk, the General Director of OJSC Severneftegazprom, signed an Agreement on socio-economic cooperation for 2019.
The priority for cooperation remains the same as in previous years: improving the innovation and investment climate, creating favorable conditions for the strategic solution of the main social tasks of the autonomous okrug and municipalities in the field of culture, youth policy, health care, education, preserving the traditions of the indigenous people of the North.
“I want to thank you for your very careful attitude to Yamal. Today you are supporting all the necessary initiatives, concerning the life of the indigenous people, the social sphere and public health. This is how a strong bond between the territory and the company is created”, said Dmitry Artyukhov.
“Being a socially responsible company, for many years we have been actively cooperating with the region in order to implement socially significant events on the area of our presence. We are not supposed to stop this year either, so we met with you in order to sign a detailed plan for the distribution of funds for 2019”, commented Vladimir Dmitruk.
In 2019, OJSC Severneftegazprom, within the framework of the signed Agreement, will direct financial resources to the social and economic development of Novy Urengoy, Purovsky and Krasnoselkupsky districts. Financial assistance will be provided to the District Charitable Foundation "YAMINA". The funds will be spent on the organization of medical and diagnostic treatment for seriously ill and disabled children, the implementation of medical treatment and rehabilitation for them. The Company will also support the activities of the non-profit organization Regional Innovation and Investment Fund “Yamal” and the Regional Public Organization “Hockey Federation of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug”.
