At the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas condensate field works are in progress to prepare the first start-up complex of the Turonian gas reservoir for commercial operation. General Director of OJSC Severneftegazprom, Vladimir Dmitruk, together with the specialists of the Company and representatives of contracting organizations, on November 14 made a detour of facilities that perform drilling operations at wells No. 1101, 1301, 1401.
During the detour, the specialists from contractors' side spoke on the progress of works. Drilling and well casing were performed at wells No. 1301 and 1401, work is underway to install the blowout equipment. Well No. 1101 is being drilled under the production string, the bottomhole depth at the time of the detour is 1,670 m.
According to the results of the inspection of facilities in the conference hall of the administrative and residential complex, a meeting was held on the Contractor’s base with the participation of the managers and specialists of RusGazBurenie LLC.
The current status of jobs performed at the first start-up complex facilities was thoroughly discussed at the meeting, the delivery dates of wellhead equipment, produced by NPO NEFTEGAZDETAL LLC, were approved and the number of activities to prepare the facilities for the next stage were outlined. At the end of the meeting, Vladimir Dmitruk expressed the gratitude to the Contractor’s employees for their job being well-coordinated: «Keep going at the same pace, adhering to the approved work schedule. All issues arising during the process will be solved jointly in an expeditious manner. Good work to you all! »
On October 27, drilling of well No. 1101 was started at the cluster of gas wells No. 11t of the first start-up complex at the Turonian gas reservoir of the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas condensate field.
The first start-up complex consists of three clusters: 11t, 13t, 14t (twelve production wells with ascending and subhorizontal end), a multi-stage hydraulic fracturing is planned for three wells.
Turonian gas reservoir commissioning will allow to maintain a plateau rate of natural gas production at about 25 bcm per year until 2023 inclusive.
Over the period from 2018 to 2023, it is planned to construct 100 wells to the Turonian gas reservoir.
