OJSC Severneftegazprom took the second place in the All-Russian contest “Russian enterprise of high social efficiency” in the nomination “For the reduction of occupational injuries and morbidity at industrial enterprises”. This achievement was made possible by an internal corporate policy aimed at the continuous improvement of the industrial safety management system, as well as the introduction of an integrated management system in the field of quality, environmental protection, occupational health and safety in accordance with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.
Successful participation in the competition is due to the Company's strategy aimed at creating safe working conditions, protecting the life and health of the Company's personnel, reducing the risks of accidents and incidents, as well as improving the industrial safety management system.
In 2012, OJSC Severneftegazprom Policy in the field of quality, environmental protection, occupational health and safety was approved, aimed at implementing the Company's strategic course:
- production of competitive products that meet all the requirements, including the requirements of our customers;
- efficient use of natural resources;
- minimizing the negative impact on the environment;
- ensuring healthy and safe working conditions in the course of production, treatment and sale of hydrocarbons (including development, exploration at the Yuzhno-Russkoye subsoil area).
In 2016, OJSC Severneftegazprom Sustainable Development Policy was put into effect, aimed at improving the economic, environmental and social performance of the Company through a balanced use of the natural resource potential, maintaining the stability of social and cultural systems to meet the needs of current and future generations.
In order to organize activities to restore the health of OJSC Severneftegazprom employees, maintaining working capacity, extending professional longevity and protecting their social rights and interests, forming the corporate values of following the norms of a healthy lifestyle in the Company annually implement priority programs: “Healthy weight is great!”; "Program for the Prevention of Oncological Diseases"; "The program for the prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular system among the employees of the Company"; "Prevention of acute respiratory infection and influenza".
The All-Russian competition “Russian enterprise of high social efficiency” was first organized in 2000. Since then, every year its goal has been to draw public attention to the importance of solving social issues on enterprise level. It allows to identify the best social projects and contributes to the creation of a positive social image of enterprises.
Participation in this competition is an opportunity for enterprises to demonstrate an active internal corporate policy with an assessment of personnel achievements, improvement of working conditions and labor protection, development of social partnership, formation of a healthy lifestyle and other.
