Drilling of production wells of the first start-up complex to the Turonian gas reservoir of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field has begunBack to news
On October 27, the drilling of well No. 1101 has begun at the gas well cluster 11t of the first start-up complex at the Turonian gas reservoir of the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas condensate field.
The first start-up complex consists of three clusters: 11t, 13t, 14t and twelve production wells with an ascending and subhorizontal end, and a multi-stage hydraulic fracturing is planned for three wells.
In the short term, it is planned to drill two more wells №№1301 and 1401 on clusters 13t and 14t.
Turonian gas reservoir commissioning will allow to maintain a plateau rate of natural gas production at about 25 bcm per year until 2023 inclusive. Over the period from 2018 to 2023, it is planned to construct 100 wells for the Turonian gas reservoir.
