Environment Management System of OJSC Severneftegazprom Was Re-Certificated for Compliance with the International Standard ISO 14001:2015

OJSC Severneftegazprom has successfully completed re-certification audit of the Environment Management System for compliance with the new version of international standard ISO 14001:2015.

                         

Also, the Company had the audit of the Integrated Management System in Quality, Occupational Health and Safety on the compliance with international standards ISO 9001:2008, BS OHSAS 18001:2007, as well as the audit of the Energy Management System on the compliance with the international standard ISO 50001:2011.

The auditors of the independent certification body OOO SSU DQS (the representative of DQS, Germany) confirmed the compliance of Severneftegazprom’s Management Systems with the requirements of international standards, acknowledging that Severneftegazprom’s Management System is efficient and guarantees the stability and reliability of the Company as a natural gas supplier and a responsible natural resource user. Within the reported period there weren’t any accidents, incidents or injuries.

Following the audit’s results, the certification body pointed out the successful implementation of environmental risks management procedures into Company’s business performance, effectiveness of energy saving and high level of R&D.

          Background:

          OJSC Severneftegazprom’s Integrated Management System in Quality, Environment Protection, Occupational Health and Safety was firstly certificated in 2010 by BUREAU VERITAS Certification on the compliance with international standards ISO 9001:2008 ‘Management Quality Systems. Requirements’, ISO 14001:2004 ‘Environment Management System. Requirements and Guidelines’, BS OHSAS 18001:2007 ‘Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems’. In 2015 another re-certification audit was successfully conducted in the Company.

          OJSC Severneftegazprom’s Energy Management System was developed and implemented in 2014 and in 2015 it was certified on the compliance with the international standard ISO 50001:2011 ‘Energy Management Systems. Requirements and Guidelines’.
